Les Mills Grit at InShape Fitness, Visalia-CA

It’s been 8 weeks since InShape Fitness launched Les Mills GRIT® @inshapemooneynorth and @inshapedemaree.  What a fantastic workout! 30 minutes of high-intensity interval training, with great music and perfect combination of powerful moves. The program focuses on three super important fitness concepts: Cardio, Strength, and Plyometrics.  The class is offered on Saturday morning at 8 am, just before I teach BODYPUMP®. With that in mind, I decided to make it my workout.  I mean, take a class, do something I don’t have to teach!!! Now I tell you, adding #grit before teaching a #bodypump class was not easy for me.  The first three weeks I was crushed and humbled.  I definitely had to change some things, such as going to bed earlier on Friday night, also eating enough (…and not too much), before I head out to the gym, since I have to drive 45 minutes to get there.  Yeah, it means 5:30 am wake up call for me on a Sat morning.  Also, a powerful snack between taking a class and teaching a class was also something that couldn’t be ignored. I have been teaching BODYPUMP® and other fitness classes such as #bodyflow #bodyattack and #cxworx for nearly 3 years now, and honestly, nothing feels like GRIT®. It’s an intelligent, efficient workout, driven by great music and coached by a great instructor @shawnae_fit4fun. It’s challenging, yet doable. Anyone can finish the class since low impact options are given throughout the class.  I highly recommend you give it a try if it’s offered in your area.  Check out classes with @mayshaelee and @fit_fierce_life.  There are a few more to the gang, so please tag them here.
